Q. What is the HostBlock Plug-In?
A. This plug-in allows you to block specific IP addfesses that are known to be spammers.

Here is how to activate and use HostBlock:

1. Go to Control Centre.
2. Scroll down to manageSecurityPlugins and click on 'Host Block'.
3. Go to Manage tab.
4. Scroll down to bottom and click on 'Add Blocked Hosts'
5. Enter the IP address (follow the instructions closely).
6. Decide if you want to block the IP address from having access to your site or just not be able to post on your site.
7. Be sure to click 'Add' when you are done.

To get the IP address of someone who is spamming you or writing derogatory comments, do the following:

1. Log into Admin Panel
2. You will see what comments have been made on your blog. Make note what post the comment was made in. (The name of the post will be under 'In').
3. Click on your blog name in Dashboard.
4. Click on the Posts link and find the post that has the comment. It will be in the 'CM' column.
5. Click on the 'CM' link for that post. This will open up the comment section.
6. Make note of their IP address and you can enter it in the spam blocker plug-ins.
