I grew up in Southern California. Now, I live in Texas with my husband. I was raised in the church and accepted Jesus as my Savior when I was young. Life hasn't always been a picnic, though, and through it all God has shown me His faithfulness.
I have over 30 years of experience in a variety areas of ministry: small groups, jail & prison ministry, police chaplaincy, youth ministry, evangelism, community development, pastoral counseling, founder of The Hill for Jesus street ministry, and addiction intervention.
Introducing me..a 33 year old slightly crazy english girl (currently overseas) who loves God, music and children. I get a real thrill over hearing the Lords voice daily and just wondering whether any of it can be used to bless others, trying out the whole blog thing!
I, Anthony Milton was born in Savannah, Chatham County Ga. Both of my parents are living. I have a twin sister. My parents separated when I was in Elementary school. I am the oldest of ten children, six brothers and four sisters. I have a twin sister. One of my brothers died. I attended Hubert Elementary School, and the Chatham Junior High School. I am a graduate from Richard Arnold High school. I was in the Marines; for a while, I have an honorable discharge.
When I was in junior high school, I stayed to myself because I had a speech impediment. I realized I stutter when I pronounce certain words. Before, I had a conversation with anyone, especially with females. I would write out selected questions and responses. I wanted to limit my conversation. I was embarrassed; I had low self-esteem, and so forth. One day a teacher told me that I would be attending a speech class to learn how to pronounce words and so forth. Over a period of time that helped, my confidence. I would write my thoughts out on paper in the form of poems, and songs.
The turning point in my life is when I was dating Sandra K. I met her when I was in the military, one night she asked me a question that changed my life and guided me to seek out my goals. “Anthony what are you going to do with your life?” She asked. “I am tired of seeing black men doing nothing with their lives, she said?” That causes me to think long and hard. “I want to be a police officer,” I said. I went on to become a police officer, working in a jail, prison and worked in many law enforcement capacities.
Also I am the first black Savannah Ga mounted police officer.
I am a divorcee with four lovely girls. God and Abraham Lincoln inspire me. Abraham never gave up becoming the President of the United States of America. He kept trying and succeeded. I too would do the same, to become a best selling author, and follow the Lord as He directs me. I am an inspired author. All of my writings are spontaneous. I have written since junior high school. I am an author of another self-published book titled, “You Will Always Have Snakes in your Head.
Several years ago, I found my true writing style. I enjoy writing. My true writing style is in He Still Speaks, Now Listen, a compilation of parables and in you will always have snakes in your head. God continues to this day inspiring me,
When I was a child, I dreamed of becoming a well-known author with many number one bestsellers. I do not write for money; any money I receive is from the fruit of my labor. I write to inspire others as well.
